This is a great review, thanks for sharing.
I am currently talking to the VPSFarm folks about taking up one of their Xen plans. Are you using the same VPS instance to host your mysql? Or do they have a different infrastructure for database?
From what I check around, vpsfarm has a good price performance ratio. However, hostingrails.com has an attractive option as well. If you are looking for additional IPs, they may work out cheaper.
I will keep you posted about it, when we finally decide.

I think 200GB should be good enough unless you plan to do a lot of video streaming.

I was just checking out difference between VPSfarm and slicehost offerings…

slicehost provide limited bandwidth of 200GB for 512 plan..

Do you this is something any startup should care about in
beginning?
