Agreed. Startups are an exercise in marketing and sales more than technology if you are from technology background. Of all the startups I know in Bangalore, only MarketHero has been started by marketing guys; rest all have been started by tech guys.

i’d also add a subheading of ‘do your own thing’ under ‘be your own boss’.. in a regular professional life, there’s every chance of doing something day on day without actually enjoying it.. or doing what you enjoy in a way that doesnt appeal to you…
