The only advantage with this big stores is that most times they are open and then you can get all kinds of things done there unlike the printer next door, sometimes his printer does not work and there is some issue with quality.

I dont deny any of the observations that you have made, but they are there with most stores. Even if I go to GK Vale they are as unorganized as Printo is. And I guess the reason for tis is that they are not very much familiar with IT technology, unlike most of us.

You should try Print Xpress, those guys are really really good.

Yeah, I too was surprised to find out that they store things on network drive and search manually. Though I was lucky to find my previous design, but it took quite some time. They weren’t sure how have they stored it – by my name or my partner’s or by site name.

I didn’t had issues with printing quality, but the service is too poor. When I printed a mug from them, they couldn’t give it to me at the said time – had to pick up the next day. Didn’t even show the courtesy to call me and inform about the delay wasting my 2 hrs and causing one day delay.

Overall, I found it pretty much average. And that’s why I never expected them to provide printing over phone or email – seems to distant for them!

Its better for them to give the file to customer and ask him to bring it back next time he wants a reprint…

Storing for 3 months and then deleting is senseless, because once I get new cards, the need for fresh set of cards arrive only after several months and not within 3 months…

The VCs who have fueled this rubbish are equally to blame… I can just picture them selling their LPs the “Kinkos of India” :)
